Pinehurst Surgical is excited to offer a new online service for our patients - iHealth. Now you can communicate with your doctor online and keep your health information handy and secure with your own personal health record.
Secure Messaging With the iHealth secure messaging feature, you have convenient online access to your doctor without picking up the phone or visiting the office. You can request an appointment or a prescription refill or receive your test results. Our staff will respond to you within 48 business hours.
Personal Health Record The iHealth personal health record (through Medem©) allows you to easily create your own interactive health record in just a few minutes. Your personal health record is easy to set up, safe and secure, and you can create health records for your children, elderly parents and other loved ones. Use your personal health record to document current medications, chronic health conditions, allergies to medications and more. Print out your record to bring to appointments, as well as a wallet card to ensure you're prepared in an emergency.
Where to start?
To get started with Pinehurst Surgical's new iHealth services:
1. Visit your doctor's office to verify your registration information and medical record onsite.
2. Log on to create your personal health record and to request the online secure messaging service that connects you to your doctor.
3. Be sure to add info@medem.com to your address book so emails from our site won't be treated as spam.
4. Enjoy the convenience of your personal health record and online secure messaging for appointment requests, medication renewals and test results. Watch for additional features coming soon!
